Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical film is written and directed by Golden Globe® winner and Academy Award® nominated writer/director Damien Chazelle (Whiplash). “Here’s to the fools who dream…”.

The other nominated film in this category, making its way onto the big screen in the coming weeks, is Lion, which releases on Friday, 20 January.
Three of the films that competed with La La Land in the Best Motion Picture: Musical or Comedy category at the Golden Globes – Florence Foster Jenkins, Deadpool and Sing Street – have completed their run on the big screen, with the fifth nomination, 20th Century Women, releasing on Friday, 12 May.
